Homemade Nutella
Store-bought could never
I didn’t realize how simple homemade Nutella was until I made it myself. So skip the store-bought jar and make it yourself. (Fun fact: Nutella is actually just a brand name, it’s really a chocolate hazelnut spread.) There’s something so satisfying about turning a handful of hazelnuts into a rich, creamy spread right in your blender. It’s perfect on toast, fruit, crepes, waffles, or honestly straight off the spoon.
Tini’s Tips
Don’t stress if every bit of skin doesn’t come off the hazelnuts. Getting most of it off is perfectly fine.
Be patient while blending. It takes a few minutes for the hazelnuts to release their oils and become smooth, and if your spread still feels too thick, add a little more neutral oil until it reaches your desired consistency.
Makes 1 cup
