Lavender Lemonade
Summer in a pitcher!
This is the perfect drink to make for Mother’s Day brunches, backyard dinners, summer afternoons, or just keeping a pitcher in the fridge during the week. It feels bright and fresh without being overly sweet. You can also use this recipe for so much more than lemonade. It’s perfect in lavender lemon martinis, or even homemade popsicles.
Tini’s Tips
The longer the lavender syrup sits, the stronger the flavor and color will get.
You can usually find dried lavender flowers at tea shops, specialty grocery stores, Amazon, or online herbal stores.
What You’ll Need
Lavender Syrup
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
Lemonade
5–6 cups cold water
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1 cup lavender syrup (or adjust to taste)
Lemon slices, for garnish
🪻Step 1: Make the Lavender Syrup
Add the water, sugar, and lavender flowers to a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk everything together and bring it to a gentle simmer.
Once the sugar has dissolved, turn off the heat and let the syrup steep for 30 minutes to 1 hour. The longer it sits, the stronger the lavender flavor and color become.
Strain the lavender flowers out of the syrup and let it cool completely.
🍋 Step 2: Make the Lemonade
In a large pitcher, combine the cold water, fresh lemon juice, and lavender syrup. Mix everything together until fully combined.
Taste and adjust depending on how sweet or lemony you like it.
🧊 Step 3: Serve
Pour over ice and garnish with some fresh lemon slices.
Xo,

I have dried lavender leaves that I’ve been saving. Going to use them this weekend to make this! Thank you Tini.
How much lavender flower should we use to make the syrup? 👀
